The 2013 Toyota Camry is a midsize sedan that is offered in four different trim levels, including the L, the LE, the SE and the XLE trims. Choosing the base level model in these trims will get you a 2.5 liter four cylinder engine, which puts out 178 horsepower and 170 pound feet of torque. Upgrading the powertrain is a possibility, with the option to switch to a 3.5 liter V6 engine which generates 268 horsepower and 248 pound feet of torque.
Standard transmission on the 2013 Toyota Camry includes a six speed automatic transmission with front wheel drive. The base level powertrain is rated at an EPA fuel efficiency rating of 25 miles per gallon in the city and 35 miles per gallon on the highway for a combined fuel economy rating of 28 miles per gallon. The upgraded V6 powertrain is rated at 21 miles per gallon in the city and 30 miles per gallon on the highway for a combined fuel economy rating of 25 miles per gallon.
The 2013 Toyota Camry offers a number of standard safety features, including full length side curtain airbags, rear seat side airbags, knee airbags for the driver and passenger, stability control, and anti lock brakes with brake assist. The all new 2012 Toyota Camry also offers new interior features, including upgraded materials to make the interior feel more elegant, and integration of the all new Toyota Entune system, which allows drivers to connect to the Web through a suite of smart phone apps and services. The Entune system also offers navigation services and audio capabilities as standard features of the all new infotainment system.
